I would highly recommend using Dave Isaacs Homes. We purchased a house in Olmos Park in September of 2019 that we knew would be a total gut with a new addition. Having previously renovated several historic homes in Galveston we thought we knew what to expect. Our original plan was to act as our own general contractor as we had previously done. The decision was made to have Dave Isaacs Homes do the renovation. In February 2020 Daves crews started construction on the new foundation and addition. Work never stopped until the house was finished and turned over to us in July of 2020. All of the work was done during the worst part of the Covid Pandemic. Working with Dave and his people was the right decision. His employees and subcontractors worked us from start to finish to ultimately give us the home we wanted. There will always be challenges in a major renovation project because of the scope of work and the different trades involved, but Dave and his crews were very responsive and worked with us to keep the job moving. The project ended up being exactly what we wanted and we are very pleased with the final results.
